Transportation
Using Public transportation in Bali for non-locals is not recommended. Taxi and e-hailing services are the most convenient transportation means for getting around Bali.

Airport transfer
You will find taxis lined up outside the arrival hall, but they tend to charge high fares. A better way is to arrange airport transfer with your hotel, the other way is to book a taxi by using ride-hailing apps like Grab, Gojek, or Bluebird.
You can also look for Blue Bird Taxi counter at arrival hall. They will offer you different types of cars with rate depending on your destination. Choose the standard Blue Bird – the cheapest.

Getting around Bali

  • Taxi
    There are many taxi companies operating in the island; Be sure to only hire Taxi with meters. The most well-known and trusted taxi group in Bali is Blue Bird taxis. The taxis in Bali are universally blue in color, so check for the Bluebird branding on the side of the car. Phone +62 361 701111
  • Ride-hailing Services
    Apps such as Grab and Gojek are the most popular in Indonesia. Bali is no exception. Simply download the app from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store to start booking your trips. They give you option: by car and by motorbike. Payment is either by cash or credit/debit card.

Accommodation
Bali is one of major tourist destinations in Indonesia. Therefore, accommodation is not an issue. It provides a wide range of accommodation options.  What you need to be aware of is the distance to the conference venue and you may need transportation to go to the venue. Udayana Campus is located in Denpasar city in the governmental offices area, a bit far from the touristic places.
